1. Agreement to Terms

By using url.vu ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use url.vu for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

• Creating or sharing links that promote illegal content or activity
• Using the service for spamming, phishing, or malicious redirects
• Impersonating others or providing false information
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights of others
• Attempting to disrupt, disable, or impair the platform or its users

We reserve the right to investigate and remove any content or account that violates these terms, with or without notice.

4. Trademark and Brand Name Policy

You may not create linkspaces, short codes, or usernames using trademarked names without proper authorization. This includes but is not limited to:

• Company names, brand names, or product names you do not own
• Names that could create confusion with established brands
• Misspellings or variations of famous trademarks
• Names intended to impersonate or misrepresent brand affiliation

Premium/Protected Names: Certain brand names are reserved and require verification before use. If you are a legitimate representative of a trademark holder, you may request access by providing:

• Proof of trademark ownership or authorization
• Corporate email verification (e.g., name@company.com)
• Business documentation demonstrating your relationship to the brand

We reserve the right to revoke any linkspace, short code, or username at any time if we determine it infringes on trademark rights, creates likelihood of confusion, or violates our policies.

5. Trademark Infringement Reporting

If you are a trademark owner and believe your trademark is being infringed on our platform, please submit a report to trademark@url.vu with:

• Your name, company, and contact information
• The trademark you own (registration number if available)
• The specific url.vu URL(s) you believe infringe your trademark
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorized

We commit to reviewing valid trademark complaints within 48 hours and taking appropriate action, which may include:

• Suspending or removing the infringing content
• Notifying the account holder of the complaint
• Terminating repeat offenders

6. User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless url.vu, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party
• Any content you create, share, or link to through our platform

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, content, and design elements of url.vu are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without explicit written permission.

8. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain a reliable service, url.vu is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Access may be suspended or discontinued at any time without liability.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

We make no warranties or representations of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of our service for any particular purpose. Use of url.vu is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any user account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason deemed necessary to protect the service or its users.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of url.vu following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
